Summer Fitness Classes for the Over 50 Crowd
July to August 2010, Mon., Tues. and Thur. mornings, Creekside Hall.
Move it with Muscle Class: This hour long self paced class will initiate movement, increase cardio, improve flexibility and balance, build strength and tone muscles. Monday & Thursdays Time: 10 - 11am.
Walking & Weights Strength and Stretch Class: Take a step towards improving your heart and lung capacity, overall body strength, balance and flexibility. Open to all those who want to start moving or need to keep moving! Mondays & Thursdays Time: 11:10 - 12 noon.
Core Conditioning Class: This general conditioning workout is aimed at building and maintaining strength, toning muscle, improving flexibility and core balance. Excellent for sport training and everyday living! Tuesdays Time: 10am - 11am.
Please Bring a Mat and Water to all Classes. Cost: One Class Drop in: $5.50, 10 Punch Card: $50.00 plus Membership to the CSA: $20 for the year. Instructor: Lynn Borrowman (AFLCA/CANFITPRO Certified) Call 403-678-2235 for more information.
Library Movie Nights and Other Library Events
The Canmore Library shows new movies every Wednesday from September onwards. Everyone is welcome. There is no cost, however, a donation at the door is appriciated to help cover the librarys license cost to show movies to the public.
