Gary Fjellgard Concert

The CSA will be presenting a concert by Juno Award Winner and CCMA Hall-of Famer GARY FJELLGARD with Laskin& Darrel on Thursday, April 22nd.@ 7:30 pm at Creekside Hall. Tickets: $20/Person & $15/CSA Members. Tickets for CSA members will be available at the CSA office and for the general public at Cafe Books.

Office Volunteers Needed

We are in need of office volunteers. This involves manning our office for two hours per week.The office hours are 10am-12pm and 1pm-3pm Monday to Friday. It is a great opportunity to get out and meet other members. If you are interested please call Fran at the office 403 678-2457.

Nakoda Casino

Anyone interested in going to the Nakoda Casino on Tuesday March 30, please sign up at the drop-in centre or phone Anne at 403 678-5109.

Birthday Tea

The NEXT birthday tea will be on Saturday April 10th as the first Saturday in April is on the Easter weekend.

Tax Tip

If you purchase Medical Insurance for travel in Canada or abroad the premium is a deductable medical expance on your return. Just fill in in at the bottom of your medical work sheet.

Banff Bus Service

All seniors are eligible to take the bus into Banff and back, twice per week beginning September 8. Stroll along the Bow, visit the library, window shop or just enjoy a change of scenery. Tickets are available at FCSS in the Civic Centre at 902 - 7 Avenue.

Afternoon Departures From Canmore - Sobeys: 2:00 pm, Canmore Senior's Centre: 2:05 pm, Bow River Seniors Lodge: 2:10, Victory Thrift Store: 2:15 pm.

Drop-off Locations in Banff: Mount Edith House, Banff Park Lodge, Banff Seniors Centre, YWCA.

Afternoon Departures From Banff - Mount Edith House: 4:30 pm, Banff Park Lodge: 4:35 pm, Banff Seniors Centre: 4:40 pm, YWCA: 4:45 pm.

Library Movie Nights and Other Library Events

The Canmore Library shows new movies every Wednesday from September onwards. Everyone is welcome. There is no cost, however, a donation at the door is appriciated to help cover the librarys license cost to show movies to the public.
